What We Teach....
Participants will learn the requirements to be a flagger, from skills and abilities to personal protective equipment. You will become familiar with flagging devices and their proper usage and learn to set up flagger stations around a work zone. These are all components to aid us in conveying messages to drivers.
Flagger certification and recertification.
Upon successful completion of this course participants will be able to demonstrate fundamental flagger procedures in accordance with Chapter 6E of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
This course is designed for individuals who will be responsible for setting up flagging operations in work zones and keeping crews safe.
Our Focus is to reduce traffic fatalities and serious injuries on Washington roadways to zero by the year 2030. IT'S ALL ABOUT SAFETY!
